Rose Valley Farm

Growing food, teaching people, and building a stronger community together.

The need

The world has changed a lot in the past few decades and even past few years. It’s a world of big agriculture, big corporations, big food, packed schedules, and convenience meals to save you time.

It has made us isolated, lonely, unhealthy, and detached from our community and our food.

Our purpose

This ministry has three primary methods for putting a dent in this issue:

To grow. We are growing healthy and nutritious food for our community that is accessible and local. We also want to grow connections with others and get to know our neighbors

To care. We want to use our food to care about those have needs and to donate as much as possible. We also want to be a place where you can bring your family to spend time outside and connect with your environment that we often drive by on our way to the next activity.

To learn. We will use diverse gardening methods that can be replicated on any scale. We aim to teach visitors how they can grow their own food, how they can identify what is growing in their own backyards, and why it is important to stay in touch with your food and community

Meet our family

Braylon started Rose Valley Farm LLC in 2022, following his graduation from Master’s Institute Seminary.

His primary job is a stay-at-home dad with his three daughters, but in his free time, he uses his passion for nature, food, and animals to run the farm and invite others in.

The rest of the family will work part-time on the farm with weeding, digging, and stomping on seedlings.

Above all, we hope that all feel welcome and seen at Rose Valley, and that it becomes a place where God’s glory and grace are made known through his artwork: the plants and us!

Follow our journey.
