Veggies

While the majority of what we grow will be available in you-pick, we will have a few items available for purchase in our farm shop.

In season now: Check back in the spring!

Meat & Eggs

Our chickens spend their lives exploring the woods around our house, scratching at bugs and tasting plants. They have plenty of room to run, roost, and play, which you’ll experience in the deep yellow yolk or deeper chicken flavor of the meat.

Farm Fresh Eggs

SOLD OUT!

$5/dozen

Our eggs come from heritage chickens who lay brown, green, and even a pink-colored egg! These chickens are well loved with lots of room to graze in the woods with Tommy the rooster to protect them.

In the winter, they are kept warm in an insulated hen house and have access to the outdoors when it’s warm enough.

Boneless, skinless chicken breast

$8.50/pound

The Cornish Cross is the typical chicken variety you find in the grocery store, known for size and their breast meat.

What makes ours different is that they have been forest-raised (the ideal environment for chickens) since 3 weeks old to get sunshine, exercise, and snacks that nature provides!

We know that a whole chicken can be intimidating to deal with, so we are taking an extra step and offering packages of just the chicken breast!

Heritage Chickens

SOLD OUT!

$4.75/pound

Heritage chickens offer the taste of chicken only some of our grandparents might remember! These breeds used to be the pinnacle of flavor and health before the modern hybrid breeds. Because these take twice as long to grow, they are almost impossible to find for sale.

These chickens have been forest-raised with room to explore and taste bugs and worms that come their way.

Bee Products

We have seven hives on the farm, and these busy bees help pollinate our crops and provide some products to enjoy!

Local Minnesota Honey

Half Pint: $6
Pint: $11
Quart:
$20

We have four hives on the farm, and while bees can travel up to three miles—gathering pollen and nectar from any sort of plant in Apple Valley—our honey tastes most similar to the clover honey, which is light in color and very sweet! Buying local honey is a great way to have a sweet treat and help with your allergies!

Beeswax Lotion Bars

$7

Along with the honey harvest each year, we also get a good amount of wax from our bees! Made from beeswax, coconut oil, shea butter, and essential oils, this natural moisturizer is great for cracked hands during the Minnesota winters.

Baked Goods

Sourdough Bread

Sold out for the season

$7 each

This simple, but tasty loaf is made only from flour, sourdough starter, salt, and water and baked fresh in our home. Sourdough is made the old-fashioned way with time for the gluten to break down and the yeast to grow naturally. This leads to a bread with way less gluten than normal and no preservatives.

Mocha Chocolate Chip Cookies

Sold out for the season

$7 for 6 cookies

Megan has been modifying this recipe since high school and the results are a rich, caramelly cookie with real butter and semi-sweet and milk chocolate chips. A perfect balance to all those veggies!
